"There is this person, I call them Me, who I want to introduce, though it’s a worthless task, because you never really know anybody. But I could tell you some facts and maybe you’ll get a grasp. I could tell you that my hometown is Tbilisi, Georgia. That I have studied philosophy and fine arts as a part of my bachelor’s degree. Apart from my studies, I have various interests, such as literature, cinema, human rights, etc. A special place on this list goes to my interest in expanding my experiences. That’s how I got into volunteering, which I have done multiple times in the past for different organizations. These experiences, mostly positive, taught me new things and helped me meet new people. Thus, I felt rather motivated, when applying for the ESC volunteering project in Poland. My activities here concern such values as education, diversity, and tolerance, which are the values I fully stand for. Being in Poland, and more specifically in the Tatra mountains region, for one and a half months in winter has been quite a challenge, but I managed to make some bright memories. Visiting Warsaw for the ESC on-arrival training was definitely one of them as I got to know other volunteers in an international and very friendly environment. There are almost five months left ahead, and I hope that they will be as bright, memorable and positive as my favorite glass flower that I accidentally broke as a child."
My hometown Tbilisi.
